By accessing or using this website you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the tool.

The tool offers both free and paid features. Free includes: violation code search, basic carrier identification, and report-number confirmation for inspections and crashes. Paid (Pro) unlocks the full data behind each lookup.

You may use the tool for personal or commercial compliance work as long as you don't breach the acceptable-use section below.

Pro is billed monthly ($20/month) or annually ($200/year) and renews automatically until canceled. Stripe processes payment; we do not store your full card number on our servers.

You can cancel anytime from Manage Billingin the account menu. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Pro until that date and won't be charged again.

Cancel anytime; past charges are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal in your account. You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period, then drop back to Free with no further charges.

All charges — monthly or yearly — are final and not refunded, including yearly plans canceled mid-cycle. If you experience a technical issue that prevented you from accessing Pro, message us via the in-app chat and we'll review your case.

Sales tax (calculated by Stripe based on your billing address) is non-refundable except where required by law.

If a renewal payment fails, your subscription is marked "past due" and Stripe automatically retries over several days. If still unsuccessful, the subscription is canceled and Pro access is removed. You can update your payment method any time via Manage Billing.

You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise programmatically extract data in bulk from this site (we apply rate limits — repeated 429 responses can result in account suspension).
• Resell, redistribute, or relicense data accessed through this tool.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract API tokens or proprietary code.
• Use the tool to circumvent FMCSA regulations or facilitate unauthorized commercial activity.
• Share your account with multiple users. One account = one person (we enforce single-session technically).

The underlying motor carrier, inspection, and crash records remain in the public domain. Our application code, UI design, brand, aggregation logic, and curated content (e.g., violation severity mappings, BASIC categorization assists) are our intellectual property and are not licensed for redistribution.

The tool is provided "as is" and "as available"without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the FMCSA data accessed through the tool is error-free, complete, or current.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the tool is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

You can stop using the tool and delete your account at any time via the in-app Privacy options menu. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, breach acceptable use, or trigger fraud / chargeback signals.

We may modify these terms from time to time. Material changes (e.g., pricing, refund policy, acceptable use) will be announced via the in-app chat to active subscribers and reflected here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
